Taste - for the love of Cooking burst onto Brisbane’s retail scene late last year and has already been touted as Brisbane’s favourite kitchen & homewares shopping mecca.

An entertainer’s heaven, with more than 5000 lines to choose from, this bright, light and innovative store is conveniently located in Fortitude Valley’s designer homeware heartland, at the corner of Montpelier & Breakfast Creek Roads.

Owner Jodie Macaulay operates this East-coast flagship store with the tried & true formula of her family’s established specialist stores in Western Australia. Where else would you find 9 metre high shelves stacked with some of the world’s most prestigious brands, including WMF, Peugeot and Le Creuset? Assembling a team of professionals, headed by partner Jens Gruendler, manager Chris Waterman and culinary consultant Melinda Clarke, Jodie’s vision is to inspire the love of cooking in everyone. To that effect, Taste regularly hosts exciting all-day events, sponsored by specialist producers and food artisans, featuring free cooking demonstrations and generous tastings. These events have attracted up to 900 people in one day into the store.
